What happens after you submit

Quote forms usually explain nothing about where your details go. Here is the whole process, including how we get paid.

  1. 1

You tell us what you need

Your address area, roughly what you spend on electricity, and whether you want to cut the bill, keep the power on during outages, or both. The more specific this is, the more useful the quotes.

  2. 2

    Installers choose to take it

Your enquiry goes to solar businesses covering your area. They pay us to unlock it, which is how this site is funded. You pay nothing, and we do not add a margin to their quote.

  3. 3

    They contact you directly

Usually by phone or email, most within two working days. You will typically hear from more than one, which is the point: a single quote tells you a price, three quotes tell you the market.

  4. 4

You compare and decide, or walk away

There is no obligation at any stage. If nobody impresses you, say no to all of them. Ask every quote for panel and inverter models, battery usable kWh and warranted cycles, whether a Certificate of Compliance is included, who files the grid registration, and the estimated generation on a June day.

About your details, plainly

Submitting this form means your contact details and requirements are shared with solar installers so they can quote you. That is what the service is for and it cannot work otherwise. Each installer is separately responsible for how it handles your information under POPIA. We do not sell your details for any other purpose, and you can ask us to delete them at any time through the contact page. Full detail is in our privacy policy and terms.

We list solar businesses compiled from public records and from owners who claim their listings. We do not independently audit qualifications, insurance or workmanship, and we do not claim to. Check certifications with their issuing bodies and ask every installer for recent local references before you sign anything.
